In this case, I watched my tutor teacher in teaching. She provides learning plans that focus on topics and learning goals. Even though in the lesson plan made not too detailed. She prepared a lesson plan before the other learning things. According to her, lesson plans are very important, although not too detailed. The lesson plan used is semi details lesson plan. She prepared several books as teaching resources. In addition, she also prepared a powerpoint containing pictures and videos so that students do not get bored in learning. Her teaching style is very disciplined. Before learning begins, students must pay attention to the garbage that is around and throw it in the trash. This is to make students and teachers feel comfortable learning and teaching in the classroom.
2. Preparing Lesson and Materials
She always makes lesson plans before teaching. Learning is taught step by step coherently and students are easier to understand. She made concept maps so that lessons were organized. She also always inserts pictures and graphics in the slideshow displayed.
3. Teaching in The Class
First, she asks students to see the surroundings, whether there is garbage or not. If it is still there, students are asked to take it and throw it in the trash. After that, the teacher starts learning by praying and holding students one by one. Then proceed with giving light questions to students about the material to be taught. Continue by giving material and forming discussion groups. She gave about 25 minutes to discuss. Then the group representative will discuss the results of the discussion.
4. Measurement and Evaluation
After 1 hour teaching, the teacher gives exercise to students related to the material described previously.
5. Impression to The Teacher Performance
Teacher performance is very interesting. Almost the same as the teaching method of teachers in Indonesia. Discipline and really appreciate cleanliness.
