Welcome To Philippines

       My name is Miftahul Haryani Haeruddin. I am student of Chemistry Education Department in State University of Makassar (UNM). I left my city on January 5th 2019. I rode Lion Air with flight number JT-875 at 19:20 WITA from Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar International Airport and landing at Jakarta on the Soekarno Hatta International Airport at 20:40 WIB. Then, I rode Scoot with light number TR-275 at 09:45 WIB from Jakarta and landing in Singapore just for transit and finally landing in Clark International Airport, Philippines on January 6th 2019 at 19:10. The reason why I go to Philippines is not for travelling but I join the SEAMEO program which is stands for Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization.
This is the picture before we check-in in the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport. I am using pink veil with white shoes. The boy in the middle is Rum from Physics Education and other lady is Icha, my classmate.

This is the picture when we transit and met in Singapore. We have same flight with other students exchange from Surabaya, the lady with yellow veil is April and the lady with blue veil is Hani.


       Today is amazing day. After long trip, I could arrive in here. It is the first time I left my country, Indonesia to join SEA Teacher Project in Philippines. I was very excited to join this program. I hope there are many things that I can get by joining this program. I met Dr. Glenn Calaguas and other peoples from PSAU (Pampanga State Agricultural University). They fetch us in Clark International Airport by car. Before go to the apartment, we get dinner first in Jollibee. All of us already tired and we have to rest in apartment of PSAU to charge our energy for tomorrow morning.

  1. Procedures of Teaching           First, give apperception and motivation to students about the lessons that I will give so that they attract the attention of students to know more deeply. Then, raise questions so students are more active. They answered and were rewarded. Formed a discussion group and gave students the freedom to ask questions. Pedagogical Contents  1. Teaching Methods           Learning methods used in high school are student-centered. The teacher gives questions about learning related to the surrounding environment. Sometimes students don't respond, the teacher must repeat the question and give a little reward for brave students. If students answer correctly, the teacher will answer "absolutely right".
